Solo Timber Frame recently visited the completed home of one of its customers in the South Downs, marking the end of a remarkable six-year journey to secure planning permission and complete the build. Set within an outstanding natural landscape, the finished project stands as a testament to patience, vision, and craftsmanship.

The visit was made all the more special by the presence of a film crew from Warwick Business School, who were on site to capture interviews, photography, and video footage as part of a forthcoming academic case study.

Solo Timber Frame supplied the timber frame for the project for Ross Ritchie, Professor in the Operations Management Group and Associate Dean at Warwick Business School. Following a highly positive experience working with the company, Professor Ritchie invited Solo Timber Frame to collaborate on a case study that will be used with mature MBA students at the university.

Nicola Matthews and Chris Davenport of Solo Tiber Frame, took part in interviews and filming alongside visual documentation of the striking property and its South Downs setting. This location marked the first of three filming sites for the case study, with subsequent visits planned to one of Solo Timber Frame’s developer partners at The Shard in London, and to the company’s manufacturing facilities.
