Ground rules:

1. Read the forum rules, obey those or else.
2. Avoid getting into arguments with people, if you're frustrated enough to start getting emotional at someone, please log out for a while, for everyone's and staff's sake.
3. This is not your random Discord chat where you can be edgy and post whatever, no weird ass spammy or even offensive Gen Alpha humour either. Those posts will be deleted when seen or reported, depending on what they are.
   1. DO NOT post random rage/clickbaiters from Youtube or Twitter either, we have a filterlist for a reason. Not everything is worth posting.
   2. Don't believe everything you see just because it's "gotta be true". Most people who say "things" or tease "things" about GTA VI are bullsh*tting, we know this by now. Not many have been right about anything.
4. Although it's fine to vent minor frustrations here, do remember we have the Bitch & Moan thread for all your major gripes, alongside other threads for more specific frustrations.
5. Found something real interesting? A story point to discuss? Maybe it's worth its own thread! Threads like this get real big, real fast, and real unreadable even for staff, so sometimes it's best to do that.
6. Make things easier for staff by reporting posts you think are rulebreaking. Report abuse is also frowned upon so don't spam us, and think whether a certain post is actually offensive or not... a post that mildly inconveniences you isn't necessarily offensive or actionable.
7. Occasional off-topic is fine, but avoid starting entire arguments about said off-topic, and just please don't even start discussing sports etc. here. Leave that for the correct sections, or don't do it at all. It's okay for the thread to be more inactive if there's not much to talk about.
8. Goes without saying after reading the forum rules but ZERO TOLERANCE for culture war bullsh*t. We are not Twitter, we are a privately owned site where we can remove you at any moment at our discretion. "Free speech" is not freedom of consequence, and largely does not apply to the Internet.

It doesn't have to be trailer 3 either although I imagine whatever we get next is meatier. Previews, a trailer, gameplay or something rather than screenshots again.

Will they jump straight to a gameplay video and skip trailer 3 tho?

If we get a big gameplay deep dive (Which I still think will be quite late in the game, maybe September-ish?) what I'm hoping is that it gives us a really good idea of any new open world dynamics they've concocted. For instance, I remember playing GTAV for the first time, ringing a random number I saw on a telephone pole and getting nothing - actually rewarding players this time around for little, minute things like that would be incredible. Although I'm not sure how feasible that would be, given the size of the game?

So glad there's ground rules for this new "megathread". Hopefully stops people using this as some friendly Discord server. For people that do post like that, just open a Discord server with your fellow people who also post like you. Message them in private messages then invite them to the server or something.

I really, really hope the next thing we get is a trailer. It's so crazy how we're only like 4 months away till this game in our hands. I just know I'll be saying "this is insane" outloud to myself in my bedroom as I first load it up lmao

F#CK! I just came back from my lunch break and saw the main thread locked and thought something happened. Sorta glad that it was a false alarm.  For now, at least...

I Think is time for new big motion footages

Just saying, usually when there is a new thread after some drama, a drop is usually imminent and that thread is short lived

No joke thought that something happened when I saw that the other thread was locked 

I've completed my late annual GTA V playthrough of 2025 today, and while it was definitely still fun, the imminent release of GTA VI definitely lessened its impact for me. One thing I like to do at the end of my playthroughs is to do Lester's assassination missions with the Big Score money in my hands to score even bigger in the stock market, and hit the 32-bit integer limit . While it's gotten old at this point, I still like that the stock market is a somewhat major game mechanic that' encorporated in the in-game internet. I hope GTA VI builds further upon it for some nice money making possibilities.

I have been playing more online and trying to get more things done on there and then in October I plan to play through Red Dead Redemption 2 right before VI. I am feeling a bit bittersweet about online. I have played it for so long and knowing that it will join the ranks of previous GTA games will feel sad but I am excited to jump into the new map and see what the next 10-15 years will look like!

I really want some more shots of Port Gellhorn for sure. Plus, I'd like a couple more of Vice City shots at night in some of the more seedier areas of the city. 

RDR2 T3 dropped May 2nd & earnings call happened on 8th 

First week of August is when we can expect to see T3 

Now ik earnings call may not always be a good telling if we are gonna get something or not but those periods are still when we can have a little bit of hopium
