@Mello69x Opera uses Chromium PDF viewer, so any change would need to happen in Chromium.

Hi Opera team/community,
I’m using Opera on Windows 11 and I love it, but the built-in default PDF viewer feels laggy and less smooth than what I experience with Firefox (and also the smooth rendering in Microsoft Edge).
Could you please consider adding an option to change the default PDF viewer behavior—ideally:
a smoother internal PDF rendering option (Firefox/Edge-like scrolling + responsiveness) or
settings to switch PDF viewer engine/layout/rendering so the performance matches other browsers.
This would make reading PDFs much more comfortable, especially for larger documents and frequent scrolling/zooming.
I know using extensions can solve this issue but come on having a inbuilt option inside browser would be game changing
Most people use edge just for pdf purposes, this would somehow reduce that friction too,
Thanks
