Fauci has remained a frequent target of MAGA criticism over his pandemic-era advocacy for vaccines, masking and lockdowns.Tensions between Fauci and Trump date back to the pandemic's early days, when the two frequently disagreed publicly.This week, Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right over 100 times during Senate testimony, accusing Paul of orchestrating the hearing solely to secure statements that could support his repeated calls for Fauci's imprisonment.
