The SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds are the best gaming earbuds we've tested for stylish looks, competent noise-cancelling and generally excellent audio that both Will and I have enjoyed. Currently these buds are going for £149-£159 on Amazon, depending on colourway, but you can snag these buds for as low as £60 from Sellx Limited's eBay store with the potent combo of an open-box set of buds and a clever code stack of DISCOVER15 and SELLX7OFF. That's a remarkable saving on these buds in a fetching orange colour, and easily the lowest I've ever seen them for.

Before I go any further, just a quick note on the condition of these earbuds. The eBay listing state these are 'Certified Open Box (Manufacturer Approved & Certified), meaning that they've been processed through a SteelSeries approved recertification program, and professionally inspected to ensure the condition of these Gamebuds is consistent with open-box stock, and come as open-box stock as a result. This essentially means they should be as-new, but that they may have been handled slightly before, but not used. It's as close to new as you can essentially get while working out to quite a hefty discount

This is more of a special edition of the Arctis GameBuds in terms of colour, with these buds coming in the 'Glorange' translucent orange finish that you can usually only purchase from SteelSeries directly it seems. It's arguably the best colour option for these buds, providing a certain retro aesthetic that's a reminder of the late 1990s and early 2000s when translucent coloured plastic was all the rage. I'm a big fan of it.

Outside of the colour choice, we've also been impressed with the first-rate build quality of the GameBuds, plus their rounded charging case that's easily pocketable to make these a choice for gaming on the go and general use as wireless earbuds. Moreover, they also fit well with a good seal for some good ANC performance and a natural-sounding transparency mode that, at this price, is likely to put a lot of other generalist choices to shame, The same also goes for the pleasant physical buttons built-in to save the hassle of touch controls, which can usually lead to a fair amount of frustration after it takes a few taps to pause a song or skip to another one. The case also supports Qi wireless charging for some added convenience, and up to 40 hours of battery life.

We found the audio quality here is generally good with an inoffensive sound profile that works well for games, music and movies alike. If the sound profile isn't to your tastes though, then you can use the fantastic Arctis mobile app for choosing from dozens of specific presets for different types of music or games, too, which helps in making the GameBuds some of the most versatile wireless earbuds you can pick up for the price.

You also get separate settings for the two different connectivity methods, as the Arctis GameBuds sypport both Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz wireless for excellent compatibility across virtually all platforms you can think of. Usually the colour would denote the platform of choice (white for PlayStation and black for Xbox), although this specific variant of the 'Glorange' colourway is the PS5 edition of these buds. This means we're getting PS5 and PS4 support over 2.4GHz, plus compatibility with PC, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS phones, plus other devices that support either method of connectivity.

The SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds for the modest asking price that the Sellx Limited eBay store is offering makes them quite the steal if you're after a versatile and great set for all manner of uses.
