Fans have been distracted by one of this year's stars from Love Island's latest posts as they cheekily shared an 'apology' video.

Priya Jaswal found herself dumped alongside Aidan Murphy just a few days before the final of ITV's reality dating series. Before she was given her marching orders she found herself in the centre of a dramatic back and forth with another Islander, despite them no longer being in the villa.

As part of this year's Grafties, footage of dumped Islanders were shown during their appearances on Love Island Aftersun and The Debrief. This included Elicia discussing Aidan and Priya's recoupling, where she put forward the idea Priya was a 'game player'.

The 25-year-old from Surrey was clearly hurt by the suggestion and hit out. At the time she said: "It's really sad to see someone so bitter and she can keep that sour taste in her mouth. Jealousy is a disease, get well soon."

Later she added: "I don't care what Julia says I don't care what Elicia says I don't care it's cringey, go back to the National Rail Elicia! You work on the National Rail why are you f***king sitting on Aftersun?"

Priya later apologised for this comments on more than one occasion, including during the live final where she was asked about it directly with Elicia sitting behind her. Now she has attempted to make light of the situation and move on.

She posted a video on her TikTok page, where she took a seat in the first class section of the train. It is part of a 'Netflix documentary' trend where people pretend they are appearing as a talking head on one of the streamer's true crime offerings.

The caption on the post read: "I hope you accept my apology National Rail." While more text on top of the video stated: "Preparing for my Netflix documentary about my comment on the National Rail."

However, most fans ended up distracted after someone pointed out what was happening in the background. A woman can be seen checking her phone before searching for the sign that lists the train's destination.

A person seemed to reveal what was really going on as they commented: "Documentary about how my mum is on a wrong train behind you" accompanied by a laughing emoji.

The original commenter later updated everyone and said: "She is okay thanks. She now thinks she is a TikTok sensation."

There were a couple other replies refuting the claim to be the person's mum but fans still appreciated the joke. One said: "Byeeeee this has sent me to the moon."

Another replied: "I'm crying she looks so lost." Someone else posted: "Absolutely dead." While one suggested: "She is the main character."
