Swift response from a head constable attached to the Chandur police station in Nalgonda district helped save a man’s life following a call to Dial 100 about a domestic dispute.

According to the police, Head Constable Adimulam Srinivas received information about a quarrel between a couple in Udatalapalli village and rushed to the spot, reaching the house within five minutes.

On entering the house, the officer found the man in a life-threatening situation. Recognising the urgency, Srinivas forced open the door, rescued the victim, administered first aid, including CPR, and arranged for his immediate transport to a hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Senior police officers and local residents commended the head constable for his presence of mind, courage and prompt response, saying his timely intervention was instrumental in saving the man’s life.
