Wright Flyer Studios and Key have announced that they will eventually conclude the main story of Heaven Burns Red. The free-to-play game’s storyline will sooner or later reach its ending after the company and the studio announced the final chapter of Heaven Burns Red.

The announcement notes that Key’s Jun Maeda had submitted the completed main story plot for Heaven Burns Red on March 19, 2019. That means the game’s whole story plot had already been set in stone by the time Wright Flyer Studios revealed it in late November 2019, before it even launched as a free-to-play game in 2022. The company launched it first for mobile devices in Japan on February 10, 2022, followed by a Japanese PC release on August 11, 2022, and extended localization launches for South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau on December 1, 2022.

The company added that the overall plot consists of six major chapters in total. This means the main story of Heaven Burns Red will eventually have its ending and last scene after the sixth and final chapter has run its course.

As a side note, this announcement came roughly 2.5 months after the Persona 5 Royal crossover event launched on May 22, 2026. But even though the main story is ending, Wright Flyer Studios has assured players that the game itself will still continue to run for the foreseeable future.

Heaven Burns Red is available worldwide on iOS, Android, and PC. The global English version that launched later in 2024 is being separately handled by Yostar. The English PC version is available via a standalone client, as the one published by Wright Flyer Studios on Steam only supports Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
