WP Credits has been growing steadily, and now that we’ve proven the model works, it’s time to look at what the next evolution of the program could look like to better fit students’ needs. You can catch up on where things stand in the latest update post.

A pilot opportunity

A college in the US has expressed interest in the program, but their students need a developer-focused track. This is a great opportunity to pilot a dev-specific path within WP Credits.

Where we need your help

This is where the community comes in. If you’re a developer or a WP teacher, we’d love your input on what specific contributions could make up a dev track — what should students be working on to build real, job-relevant skills?

Taking it a step further: if we structure this as a 2–3 level path (beginner to advanced), what contributions would you place in each tier?

We need at least the first tier defined by the end of August to stay on track for this pilot, so if you have thoughts, please share them soon.
