Spanish Classroom Words is a Control Data PLATO

educational courseware package. It is available for use on

Apple II Plus, Apple IIe, and TI 99/4A microcomputers.

The classroom words activity is intended to be a versatile

vocabulary-building lesson suitable for use by schools, or

individuals. It is designed to familiarize the user with

approximately five hundred Spanish words helpful to

travelers in a Spanish-speaking country. The activity

provides vocabulary drill and practice in 10 categories. The

drills are presented in two game-like formats: a Spanish

version of the hangperson game and a multiple-choice

pyramid game.

This educational courseware support manual contains an

introduction to the activity, a description of the lesson flow,

suggestions for teaching strategies, and supplemental

activities for the user.
