After more than a decade at the forefront of Dubai’s luxury real estate market, entrepreneur Soufie Jnidee is embarking on a new mission, one rooted not in skyscrapers, but in the mountains of East Africa.

For years, Soufie Jnidee built a reputation as one of Dubai’s most respected real estate professionals. Known for structuring high-value investment portfolios, acquiring exclusive opportunities, and advising international investors, she became recognized for transforming market intelligence into exceptional investment returns.

Working with leading developers and institutional partners, her expertise extended far beyond sales. It centered on strategic acquisitions, portfolio management, risk analysis, and identifying opportunities before the market recognized their value.

Today, that same philosophy is driving an entirely different industry.

Rather than asking where the next luxury tower will be built, Soufie is asking a different question:

How can Africa create the world’s next premium consumer brand?

That vision became Afrobica Coffee.

Unlike many coffee companies that simply source beans, Afrobica was born from firsthand experience in Uganda’s Mount Elgon region, where Soufie spent time with farming communities learning the craft behind specialty coffee. It was there she realized that while Africa produces some of the world’s finest coffee, much of its value is captured elsewhere.

Afrobica was created to change that narrative.

For Soufie, Afrobica’s mission goes beyond sourcing exceptional coffee,  it’s about empowering the farming families of Mount Elgon, supporting access to education for their children, and preserving the region’s coffee heritage for future generations. As the brand puts it: every sip carries the soul and soil of Africa.

The company focuses on premium single-origin specialty coffee while building a brand that celebrates African craftsmanship, authenticity, and quality on the global stage.

“Luxury isn’t created by expensive packaging,” Soufie says. “Luxury is created by authenticity, craftsmanship, and the story behind every product.”

Her transition may seem surprising, but she believes both industries share the same foundation.

“In real estate, I wasn’t selling buildings, I was creating investment strategies. Coffee is no different. You’re creating a brand, a supply chain, a customer experience, and long-term value.”

This strategic mindset has shaped every aspect of Afrobica from sourcing and roasting to packaging, branding, and international expansion.

The company’s ambitions extend well beyond selling coffee.

Afrobica aims to become a global lifestyle brand that elevates African products while creating sustainable economic opportunities for farming communities.

For Soufie, success is measured not only by revenue, but by impact.

“I’ve spent years helping people build wealth through investments. Today I want to build something that creates value for everyone involved from the farmer growing the coffee to the customer enjoying it.”

The move also reflects a broader evolution in her career.

Having established herself as a leader in one of the world’s most competitive real estate markets, Soufie is increasingly positioning herself as a serial entrepreneur focused on creating businesses with global relevance.

Her experience across investment, branding, strategy, and international business gives her a unique perspective on scaling companies across industries.

“The industry changes,” she says. “The principles don’t. Whether it’s real estate or consumer brands, success comes from vision, disciplined execution, understanding people, and creating something that lasts.”

As Afrobica prepares for international expansion across the Middle East, Europe, and North America, Soufie believes the company represents something larger than coffee.

It is proof that African products can compete at the highest level not because they are African, but because they are exceptional.

After building one successful career in Dubai’s real estate sector, Soufie Jnidee is now building something entirely different.

Not the next landmark building.

But perhaps the next globally recognized African luxury brand.
