Inmate Intake Report March 18-20

Diego Nevarez, 26, was arrested by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office on March 18 in connection with a homicide investigation. He is currently being held at the Colorado State Penitentiary in Cañon City. He is being charged with Murder in the First Degree – Extreme Indifference, Murder in the First Degree – After Deliberation and Criminal Attempt X2.

Joseph T. Robinson, 37, Cañon City, Vehicular Eluding.

Nolan G. Smith, 32, Cañon City, Failure to Appear – Criminal Mischief.

Matthew Scott Medina, 28, Cañon City, Assault in the Third Degree.

Clay W. Nimmo, 47, Penrose, Fugitive of Justice – Explosive/Incendiary Device (Pueblo County).

Meshia A. Peltier, 43, Cañon City, was arrested on March 19 by the Department of Corrections (DOC) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for multiple felony charges related to narcotics and facility security. She is charged with Introduction of Contraband in the Second Degree (X2) and Unlawful Distribution.

Geno Stricklett, 33, Cañon City,  Failure to Appear on a charge of Prohibited Use of a Weapon.

Nathan A. Brandt, 22, Cañon City, Driving Under the Influence, Driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08 or higher, Reckless Driving.

Alexander E. Casais, 54, Florence, Fugitive of Justice – Assault in the Second Degree – Strangulation.

Nathan A. Crawford, 50, Westcliffe, Fugitive of Justice – Assault in the Third Degree (Pueblo County).
