MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. Russia expects Western nations to exercise common sense in restraining the Kiev regime from provocations that could have irreversible repercussions for European security, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated in an interview with TASS.

"We hope our Western partners will exercise restraint and avoid actions that might lead to irreparable consequences for the European continent," he emphasized.

Galuzin highlighted that the Joint Regional Group of Forces and the Unified Air Defense System are operating effectively within the integrated defense space of Russia and Belarus. He also recalled that Russian non-strategic nuclear weapons were stationed on Belarusian territory in 2024, with Oreshnik missile systems deployed in late 2025.

"Joint military exercises aimed at enhancing combat readiness are proceeding as planned. In 2025, during the large-scale Zapad-2025 maneuvers, various scenarios for repelling aggression against the Union State were practiced. The first joint exercises involving the control of strategic and tactical nuclear forces took place on May 21," Galuzin added.
