There was no dilemma for 'It-girl' Alexa Chung over what to wear to her brother's wedding.

It seems fated that the television presenter, 40, chose a black maxi dress aptly named 'Alexa' for the wedding of her brother Dominic in Privett, Hampshire. 

Alexa's halter-neck dress was designed by Lebanese label Super Yaya and costs £1,690. 

Dominic, who is global head of music at Soho House private members' clubs, tied the knot with society florist Christie Leigh.

Alexa's new sister-in-law Christie, a former model, has provided ­flowers for fashion labels including Dior, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.

'It needs to be the perfect fit – kind of like a marriage,' she said of her work. 

'I approach private events with more of an emotional side, and I like to collaborate through the whole process.'

It's possible that Alexa was taking tips from the big day as she is reportedly engaged to boyfriend Tom Sturridge. 

The star first sparked engagement rumours with the actor, 38, last year with the couple seen wearing matching rings in October. 

In April it was claimed the couple are said to be 'over the moon' and are planning a 'classy' wedding ceremony in summer.

A source told The Sun: 'Alexa has confirmed to her friends that she is indeed engaged to Tom and she is over the moon.

'She is in a great place and seems completely head over heels for him. They're a great match.

'They have been hard at work planning a wedding with all of their close pals there.

'It won't be a massive over-the-top affair but a smaller, classier and cooler bash.'

Back in February, Alexa stepped out wearing bridal white and flashing a ring on her wedding finger as she attended Paris Fashion Week.

The son of award-winning film director Charles Sturridge, Tom seems open to marriage, while Alexa for her part, previously mused: 'I just don't get why marriage is different from non-marriage — I just don't get it.'

Her spokesperson declined to comment when asked about the rumours.

Tom and Alexa went public with their romance last July when they attended day seven of the Wimbledon Championships.
