Sean Connery's granddaughter Saskia has revealed her insecurities around swimwear - as she shared a video showcasing her collection of bikinis on Instagram.

The granddaughter of the former 007 star is a fashion entrepreneur and influencer with over 22,000 followers on Instagram. 

She reportedly splits her time between the USA and the Bahamas, but regularly shares snaps of her adventures across every corner of the globe, from Paris to London.

Yesterday, she shared a number of clips as she enjoyed life in the Bahamas in a bikini, writing: 'POV: you’ve spent 80 per cent of your life in a bikini and are sick of not feeling ones most beautiful when summer comes around and you have to show more skin. 

'Headed to Miami tomorrow for some meetings on @saga__swim and so excited.' 

In one of the clips, she posed on the side of a boat in a vibrant green bikini, while in another, she danced on the beach while wearing a purple two piece. 

In a third, she could be seen throwing her arms into the air with joy as she took a boat trip from the island.  

Saskia attended school in the States before going to college in Paris, where she graduated in 2017. 

Saskia recently revealed she was making a swimwear line after feeling frustrated about the lack of options in the market.

The line, Saga Swimwear, has just 500 followers on Instagram alongside the description: 'On a mission to make every woman feel confident and beautiful on the beach #JoinTheSaga.' 

As well as enjoying poetry, photography, spearfishing and tennis, the socialite also spends time volunteering at a Bahamian school for underprivileged children on the island.

On her LinkedIn page, she describes herself as having a 'unique passion and energy' which she brings to 'everything she does.'

She wrote: 'Having lived in The Bahamas, London, New York and Paris, and having traveled extensively elsewhere, I easily connect, am familiar and sensitive with people of all ages, cultures, religions and nationalities. 

'I am a fast learner and very intuitive especially when it comes to fashion creativity, marketing or public relations. 

'I am full of innovative ideas and love to learn and capture the most I can from opportunities and work with others.'

In April 2021, she got engaged to banking heir Phillip Thomas Muhr after he proposed with a diamond ring at the Lyford Cay enclave in the Bahamas. 

However they ended up splitting a year later, with an insider telling Richard Eden:  'She did her best to make their relationship work until the very end.

'She's happy to be single now. She's dating a lot. She's worlds happier. She wishes him the very best and hopes he finds his happiness.'

Phillip, meanwhile, who stands to be the beneficiary of the Austro-American Muhr banking and bottled water dynasty, said he had fond memories of their four-year relationship.

'Unfortunately, it didn't work out,' he confides. 'We had a wonderful time with each other and we thought it was for the best that we remain as friends.'

The Austrian, who splits his time between London and the Bahamas, insisted there were no third parties involved. He added: 'Lyford Cay is a very small community so we ended on good terms.'
