And Duncan Bannatyne reportedly wants to share his business and life expertise with a group of hand-picked celebrities in the gruelling environment that is the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle when the show returns to screens next month.

Duncan, 66, allegedly fancies himself as a real-life Tarzan as it's thought he's agreed to take part in the upcoming series of the ITV reality-TV programme, along with his 35-year-old girlfriend and Watchdog host Anne Robinson.

An insider told The Sun: 'Duncan is really excited about I'm A Celebrity and sees it as a new challenge after Dragons' Den.

'He and Nigora are madly in love and he cannot wait for her and some of his children to join him out in Australia.'

MailOnline has contacted an ITV spokesperson for clarification.

Meanwhile, notorious television meanie Anne, 71, is believed to have secured a £750,000 deal to brave the Australian wilderness.

She recently told press: 'I think the last offer from I'm A Celebrity was for about half a million,'

But according to the Daily Star, producers are upping the offer by a quarter of a million to seal the deal.

If The Weakest Link presenter is to accept the offer, it'd make her the highest-paid contestant in the show's 13-year history.

Other names being bandied about in reference to the line-up include former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison and former X Factor winner James Arthur.

Meanwhile, Gemma Collins has reportedly been banned from reappearing over fears for her health following her emotional and short-lived stint last year.

An insider told The Sun: Gemma is gutted because she was desperate to give it another go.

‘She’s in the best shape of her life but docs feared another repeat of last year’s early exit. Despite losing weight and brimming with confidence, they felt she still wasn’t strong enough to cope with the demands.'
