A former Etihad aeroplane has been converted into a luxurious staycation holiday rental, complete with fuselage bedrooms.

A video tour of the plane-ly impressive accommodation in Tenby, West Wales, has gone viral on TikTok, garnering 800,000 views.

The Airbus A320 - sourced from Cardiff Airport - looks unsuspecting from the outside, but the interior has been totally transformed.

The open-plan living space is crafted within the original fuselage - that's the large outer shell that surrounds the body or cabin of the plane. 

A functional kitchen has been installed in the galley area, the cabin doors are fully operational, and guests will discover Etihad and Air France branded storage, plus aisle dolly trolleys. There's Wi-Fi, too.

The toilet has been converted to include a shower, while the living area has plenty of light thanks to the 26 windows (equipped with pull-down blinds), as well as the overhead compartment lights.

There is also an 'Arabian Nights' outdoor seating area with a desert mural, as reported by What'sTheJam.

The listing continues: 'As you step inside, you’re greeted by an open-plan living space, ingeniously crafted within the original fuselage. 

'Here, two single beds and a convertible sofa bed promise restful slumbers, complemented by the cozy ambiance of a space that’s been both newly carpeted and thoroughly insulated - ensuring warmth and comfort no matter the season. 

'The interior boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, ingeniously integrated amidst authentic aircraft features, including operational cabin doors, Etihad and Air France branded storage, and aisle dolly trolleys, blending culinary convenience with a dash of novelty.

The listing adds: 'The living area invites relaxation with a coffee table and Freeview TV, all under the soft glow of converted overhead compartment lights.'

The video tour was uploaded by the owners to their TikTok, @applecamping, with on viewer, 'Georgie', commenting: 'I'd stand at the top of the aisle to do the cabin crew emergency exit actions.' 

While another poster, 'Sophie', noted: 'It's not a want it's a need!'
