A married PE teacher has admitted to having sex with a male student and sexually touching another.

Tayla Brailey, 32, fronted Campbelltown Local Court, southwest Sydney, on Wednesday.

She pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old and sexually touching a 16-year-old in 2024.

Brailey has also pleaded guilty to using a carriage service to access child abuse material and using a carriage service to cause child abuse material to be transmitted to herself.

As each charge was read, she said 'Guilty your Honour', Newscorp reported.

Several other charges were withdrawn on Wednesday.

Brailey's lawyer Abbas Soukie said some agreed facts in the matter are still under dispute.

The teacher was first arrested in August 2024 but her case was delayed eight times since court negotiations began in July 2025.  

She taught at Lurnea High School in Sydney's southwest, having completed a degree in Physical and Health Education at the University of Wollongong in 2017.

Police alleged she began speaking to the first student after he added her on Snapchat, before the pair began exchanging sexually explicit videos.

She then allegedly masturbated the teen at her North Wollongong home.

On another occasion, Brailey allegedly had unprotected sex with the student in the back of a car after he skipped school to meet her before she went to a pharmacy to get the morning-after pill.

She was also accused of masturbating the second teen in her classroom, before trying to get him to having sex with her, but it did not happen.

At the time, Brailey was suspended without pay by the Department of Education and support was provided to students and staff at the school.

Brailey is due to return to Campbelltown District Court for sentencing, with a date to be set on March 26.

She will remain on bail.
