The 64-year-old Oscar winner - who returned to his signature silver locks - looked somber during the intense chat as Oprah clutched onto his hand and put on an animated display.
Winfrey's best friend of 49 years - CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King - was seen intently listening by her side.
