WASHINGTON, August 12. /TASS/. Tehran's production of missiles surpasses their use for strikes against the enemy, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, adviser to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces), said on Wednesday.

"The number of missiles we manufacture every day is more than the number we launch. In a country this vast, we can make them wherever we want," Naqdi said in an interview with US-based PBS television channel.

"Rest assured, even if this war lasts for years, until the last day, Iran's rockets will be launched," he stressed.

"If there comes a day when Iran has no more missiles left, that's when we will be even more dangerous for America," he continued. "America has thousands of economic interests throughout the world, and all of them can be easily destroyed."

The US and Israel began a war with Iran on February 28. In June, Washington and Tehran signed a memorandum of understanding providing for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon. However, in the early morning hours of July 8, the US resumed large-scale strikes against Iran, accusing it of violating the terms of the agreements reached on the Strait of Hormuz.
