MOSCOW, August 12. /TASS/. Claims that the Baltic Sea has become NATO’s internal waters do not reflect reality, Polish President Karol Nawrocki told reporters.

"I want to assure you all that, although this follows from cartography and map analysis, in fact this is not entirely the case," Nawrocki said at a ceremony marking the launch of the Polish Navy’s newest frigate, Wicher, in Gdynia. The speech was broadcast by TVP Info.

Leading Polish politicians, including Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, have repeatedly said that the Baltic Sea became NATO’s internal waters after Sweden and Finland joined the alliance.
