Building upon the success of the original platform, EvenAir 2.0 is engineered to address one of the most common challenges in residential HVAC systems: uneven temperatures between rooms and floors in a home. The upgraded controller with improved logic is designed to efficiently balance up to three areas in a home. By leveraging advanced sensing and modulating damper capabilities, the system continuously monitors and adjusts airflow to maintain consistent comfort in every space, eliminating the risk of overcooling or overheating an area within the house.

EvenAir 2.0 provides more responsive communication between system components, keeping track of temperatures in areas such as upstairs and downstairs. Every two minutes during heating, cooling, or fan-only mode, it compares the main thermostat with the sensor readings, then automatically adjusts the modulating dampers. This level of control delivers heating and cooling exactly where they’re most needed, reducing hot and cold spots scattered around the house while improving overall system efficiency, the press release said.

With improved capabilities, EvenAir 2.0 can detect temperature variations quicker and respond more effectively to changing conditions. It maintains tighter control over comfort levels while delivering balanced airflow across multiple zones.

The Field Controls EvenAir 2.0 is designed to work seamlessly with a single HVAC system to provide a cost-effective comfort solution for split-level and two-story homes and for isolated rooms that are more or less influenced by exterior temperatures, the company said.
