NEW MODEL VENTILATOR: The Model IV joins the Model IVE in Greenheck Fan Corp.’s lineup of ventilators that deliver 100% outdoor air. Both are designed to be installed in places where space may be limited.
SCHOFIELD, Wis. — Model IV is the newest addition to Greenheck Fan Corp.’s lineup of ventilators that deliver 100% outdoor air. Both Model IV and the older Model IVE are designed for indoor installation in places, such as mechanical rooms, attics, and basements, where space may be limited.
Model IVE offers energy recovery through a compact, three-inch polymer total enthalpy wheel that transfers both heat and moisture with up to 85% total effectiveness, while Model IV does not offer energy recovery.
Both Model IV and Model IVE both feature hot water and chilled water coils as well as electric post-heat up to 45 kW.
Greenheck’s indoor ventilators have a modular design that fits through 30-inch service doors and elevators and can be ceiling-hung. Models IV and IVE, a press release from Greenheck said, are ideal for retrofits, IAQ improvement projects, very high efficiency (VHE) initiatives, and applications such as:
• Schools, hospitals, and nursing homes where 100% outdoor air is required.
• Buildings with roof constraints, such as those with a pitched roof.
• Multilevel high-rise buildings where a rooftop dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) is impractical or difficult.
• All-electric decarbonization initiatives.
