Six months since our last update, a multifamily residential building from Intergulf Development Group has reached its peak just north of 6th Street in Westlake.Located at 495 S. Hartford Avenue, the project consists of a seven-story building that will feature 218 apartments when completed. Two subterranean levels with parking for 200 vehicles sits below the housing.

The site was entitled for development using bonus incentives to permit a larger structure than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, 36 of the new apartments are to be reserved as affordable housing.IBI Group is designing 495 Hartford, per city records. Renderings depict the finish product as a contemporary low-rise building.
