Travis Kelce opened up about his “crazy” wedding night for the first time since marrying Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs star, 36, spoke to reporters at training camp on Wednesday, Aug. 12, and was asked about his eventful offseason, during which he married Swift at a star-studded wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3.

“It was a fun offseason, man,” Kelce said. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”
Kelce added that it was “a crazy night” that was “full of a lot of celebration,” before telling reporters he’s now turning his focus to “football, baby.”
Elsewhere in the press conference, Kelce spoke getting married inside Madison Square Garden. “I always told myself that I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking and my wife went when I was stuck in a mini training camp so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then. It’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married there,” he said.
Kelce’s comments about his focus on football come after a source told Star that the tight end’s return to training has been a “big change” for the newlyweds. Per the source, Kelce is “throwing himself full force back into training because the season starts very soon.”
“He’s back to being ultra disciplined with his diet and sleep schedule and training. It’s very full-on,” the source said. “Taylor has done it before, so she knows what to expect and she’s totally happy to support him, but there’s no doubt it’s a big change to go from indulging non-stop to not even having a glass of wine with dinner.”
Of course, “she’s all in with him and wants to be the ultimate support system, so she’s cooking him healthy meals [and] she’s going to bed early right alongside him,” the source reveals. “She has no issue buckling down and focusing. It’s what she does best.”
Swift and Kelce’s Madison Square Garden ceremony, which was officiated by Adam Sandler, took place in front of an estimated 1,000 wedding guests, including A-listers Julia Roberts, Gigi Hadid, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Emma Stone, and Brad Pitt.
