Best Buy 60th/Live soon

The Black in July action is over and we are still a ways away from the major fall shopping events, but Best Buy is looking to end the summer with a bang as it readies a giant 60th anniversary sale event starting next week. 

Best Buy is to launch what sounds like a massive weeklong sale event starting next week. In celebration of 60 years in the game, the national retailer will be landing with thousands of price drops come Monday:

Celebrate with savings from August 17–23. 7-day sale to celebrate our 60th anniversary. There will be weeklong offers, weekend offers, and brand takeover days with Deal of the Day.

The Best Buy 60th Anniversary Sale will kick off early in the morning on August 17th and run right through the following Sunday on August 23. You will find all of the deals right here.

The sale event will be loaded with deals across its online shopping experience alongside what sounds like an updated series of deals starting on Saturday August 22, and a series of special Deals of the Day events. 

Best Buy runs Deals of the Day sales everyday right here. They are typically a smattering of random products from several brands. But it does, from time-to-time, deliver a full takeover in the form of what is effectively a brand-specific flash sale, and that’s exactly what we will be getting starting next week. 

While these things are usually kept under wraps until they go live, we are getting a bit of flash sale schedule as part of the 60th Anniversary Sale announcement. 

The following brands will be featured in special 1-day savings” throughout the week:

• Microsoft – Monday, August 17
• Samsung – Tuesday, August 18
• Apple – Wednesday, August 19
• LG – Thursday, August 20

There are no details on the Friday event, which could indicate a return to form with deals from multiple brands, or a head start on the weekend deal update.
