MILL RUN, Pa. – Rejeanne Menard, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and friend passed away on Aug. 1, 2026, the day before her 66th birthday.
Rejeanne was a truly gifted healer and exuded a warmth and kindness to all she encountered. Her light was bright and her smile infectious. She loved God and loved her family deeply and expressed it in the way she lived her life. She was a well loved and respected massage therapist and she touched many lives . She gained many different certifications in her field that allowed her to assist people in their healing in many different ways. It was meaningful work for her and she was devoted to her practice, to God and to living her life fully.
She had such an adventurous spirit and a deep passion for life. She loved plants, birds and animals. She treated all life with compassion and nurtured everything she touched. Rejeanne enjoyed traveling to new places around the world, scuba diving in the deep sea, swimming, floating in a river, laughing , dancing and whipping up the most incredible soups and meals from whatever fresh vegetables and meat she had on hand. She loved to nurture those she loved and she did it so beautifully. Being a mémère to her granddaughter Breya was her favorite adventure of all.
Rejeanne is survived by her three children, Maegan Kelly and husband Ryan Kelly; Mary Avery and husband Jason Avery and their children/grandchildren Taylor, Leah, Cole, Daxten and Addison Avery; Andrew Menard and wife Jessica Menard and their daughter Breya Menard. Her mother Therese Marie Oullette Bernier; sisters, Vivian LaBonte and Michelle Bernier and brother Thomas Bernier. Along with nieces, Leslie Wilson, Aliesha Labonte, Emily Luongo and nephews Stephen Gosselin II, Horace Ward Jr., Josef Ward, Dominique Ward, Edward Bernier, Matthew LaFreniere and Adam Caesar. As well as several grand nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who she loved dearly.
Preceded in death by her father Edward H. Bernier Jr., her sister Monique Ward and brother Phillipe Bernier.
A service will be held at Demers-Desmond Funeral Home in Brunswick, at 12 p.m., Aug. 15. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Brunswick, Maine. Family and friends are invited to the Elks Lodge in Brunswick afterwards for a time of sharing and light refreshments.
