Legal artificial intelligence (AI) company BHSN said it has supplied its contract AI platform “allibee” to Hancom Office 2024 “Hangeul,” allowing users to review contracts directly within the document-writing environment.

​Allibee is accessed in “Hangeul” through HanAdd-ons. HanAdd-ons is a platform that provides AI functions within Hancom Office, including meeting-minute creation, academic paper searches, document proofreading, plagiarism detection, and contract review. BHSN’s allibee handles contract-related tasks, and users can install and subscribe to the paid service through HanAdd-ons to run it directly in “Hangeul.”

​According to BHSN, allibee summarizes key contract terms to reduce review time, generates drafts based on contract conditions, and uses AI review functions to identify risks and potentially unfavorable clauses. The platform operates on a multi-large language model (LLM) architecture that includes “allibee astro,” BHSN’s proprietary legal-specialized LLM.

BHSN said allibee reduces the risk of hallucinations that can occur with general-purpose LLMs by training on extensive legal data, including South Korean laws, court precedents, and government policies, and using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology to identify and present supporting evidence from actual documents.

​The company also said contracts uploaded by customers are not used to train the AI, allowing sensitive corporate information to be handled securely.

​Through the supply agreement, BHSN aims to establish contact with Hancom Office’s broad customer base and expand allibee’s availability beyond companies to public institutions. CJ CheilJedang, Hanwha Solutions, Aekyung Chemical, and Yulchon have been using allibee, while BHSN plans to unveil a global version in September.
