dk-thrive:All-You-Can-Eat Buffet for this Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, a species I have found particularly skittish around humans (well, mostly me). Not this fella, and not today. He parked himself along the breakwall and feasted on crabs, his favorite entree. I had the good fortune of watching him for over an hour. Miracle. All of it. 4:50 to 6:00 am. 75º F. July 4, 2026.
