True Brit Entertainment has released the first trailer for ‘Victorian Psycho,’ a gothic horror thriller that promises a deliciously twisted blend of psychological terror, Victorian elegance and brutal violence. Based on the acclaimed novel by Virginia Feito, the film stars Maika Monroe as an enigmatic governess whose arrival at a secluded English manor marks the beginning of a horrifying nightmare.

Set against the haunting backdrop of Victorian England, ‘Victorian Psycho’ follows Winifred (Maika Monroe), an eccentric governess who takes up residence in a remote gothic estate. While her peculiar charm initially captivates those around her, it soon becomes clear that Winifred is concealing a terrifying secret. As bizarre and disturbing events begin to unfold throughout the manor, her grip on reality steadily unravels, unleashing increasingly savage acts that threaten everyone in her path.

Directed by Zachary Wigon, Alongside Monroe, ‘Victorian Psycho’ boasts an impressive ensemble featuring Jason Isaacs, Ruth Wilson, Thomasin McKenzie, Jacobi Jupe and Evie Templeton, adding further depth to the film’s sinister mystery.
