Bambu Lab has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of the A2L, its largest open-bed desktop 3D printer to date. Designed for makers, educators, designers and small businesses, the A2L offers a significantly larger build volume, intelligent print monitoring, high-speed printing and support for multi-material workflows.

According to the company, Bambu Lab products have already been available in India through authorised partners for nearly two years, with the A2L marking the brand’s official launch in the country.

The Bambu Lab A2L features a 330 mm x 320 mm x 325 mm build volume, offering 105% more printable space compared to standard 256 mm-class desktop 3D printers.

The larger print area allows users to:

• Print larger single-piece models
• Produce multiple parts in one print job
• Reduce the need to split large designs into smaller sections

The printer is aimed at applications including cosplay props, prototypes, home décor products and small-scale batch production.

The A2L incorporates several technologies designed to improve print quality and reliability.

The A2L supports optional modular accessories including:

• Blade Cutting Module
• Pen Drawing Module

These accessories enable users to cut materials such as leather, fabric, and stickers or perform precision drawing tasks.

The printer is also compatible with Bambu Lab’s Automatic Material System (AMS), allowing multi-colour printing and automatic filament management.

The printer integrates with Bambu Lab’s software ecosystem, including Bambu Studio, MakerWorld, and Bambu Handy mobile app. It also supports third-party slicers such as SuperSlicer, PrusaSlicer, and Cura. RFID-enabled Bambu Lab filaments can automatically configure printer settings for compatible materials.
