GIGABYTE has announced the launch of its first Made in India gaming laptop, the GIGABYTE GAMING A16. Powered by AMD Ryzen processors, the locally manufactured laptop is aimed at gamers, creators, students, and professionals looking for gaming performance and AI-ready computing capabilities.
The launch marks GIGABYTE’s entry into local gaming laptop manufacturing in India as the company looks to expand its presence and manufacturing capabilities in the country.

GIGABYTE has partnered with Dixon Technologies for the local manufacturing of the GAMING A16. According to the company, the partnership combines GIGABYTE’s engineering and product standards with Dixon’s manufacturing capabilities in India.
As part of the initiative, GIGABYTE executives from its global sales, product management, procurement, materials planning, and quality assurance teams worked with Dixon throughout the manufacturing process.
GIGABYTE said this collaboration is intended to ensure that locally manufactured GAMING A16 laptops meet its global standards for performance, reliability, and product quality.
GIGABYTE Expands Made in India ManufacturingThe GIGABYTE GAMING A16 represents the first step in GIGABYTE’s plans to expand local manufacturing in India. The company said the initiative will help strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and support its long-term growth in the Indian PC market.
Sinclair Hsiao, Vice President – Global Sales at GIGABYTE, also visited India alongside senior company executives to mark the start of the local manufacturing initiative.
Hardware Configurations TBAGIGABYTE has not yet revealed the complete specifications and individual configurations of the Made in India GAMING A16 models.
The existing global GAMING A16 lineup, however, offers configurations featuring a 16-inch IPS display with up to WQXGA resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate, up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM, up to 4 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, Dolby Atmos audio, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and a 76 Wh battery.
The exact specifications available for the locally manufactured Indian variants are expected to be announced separately.

GIGABYTE GAMING A16 Price & AvailabilityThe Made in India GIGABYTE GAMING A16 has been launched in India, but the company has not yet announced pricing or detailed hardware configurations for the locally manufactured models.
