Here are a few things you can try if you're having problems.

- Don't install the game in C:\Program Files. Create a separate folder. I keep my games in C:\Games, for example.

- Run the installer as administrator.

- Start the game as administrator.

- Try different compatibility modes. Preferably Windows 98/ME.
