Katy Perry gave her 203 million Instagram followers a rare glimpse of her daughter in a post on Wednesday.

The 40-year-old pop star including a photo of Daisy, four, from behind, in keeping with her family tradition of not showing her daughter's face on social media.

The unusual sight of Daisy — who was sang in one adorable video — was a particular surprise, as Katy's ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom was lambasted by fans on social media just days earlier for posting what many called an 'inappropriate' photo of the little girl.

Although the 48-year-old Lord Of The Rings star didn't include Daisy's face in the quickly deleted snap, he set off some followers by sharing a nude photo of the little girl going swimming with him, even though he censored the image.

Notably absent from Katy's Instagram update was an hint of her rumored romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In addition to giving an update on her family, Katy kept her fans abreast of the struggles of life on the road via a photo of her bloodied knee that she injured while touring. 

Katy's post included a cute photo of Daisy shot from behind as she leaned against a window and looked down from a skyscraper.

The nepo baby wore a dark-colored dress and had her hair styled in twin buns as she raised her hands to the glass.

Although Katy maintained her daughters privacy by not showing her face, she revealed more about Daisy than usual in an accompany video.

Daisy wasn't seen in the clip, but she was heard singing sweetly while performing a puppet show with a lion hand puppet that bobbed up and down in a small stage setup.

The rest of the Firework singer's post was devoted to creating a portrait of her recent travels since her split from Orlando. 

She opened the slideshow with a silly photo of herself beaming with her eyes closed and one hand in the air as she paused a bike ride.

'we continue to be on tour,' she captioned the post, which she limited comments on. 

The few comments that made it in under the wire were exclusively adoring, a far cry from the critical comments Katy's ex Orlando received after he posted — and then quickly deleted — a far more risqué photo of their daughter. 

Over the weekend he shared a carousel on his own Instagram page that included a photo of himself carrying Daisy and stepping into the waves for a swim.

Commenters harshly criticized the actor for the photo because Daisy — who was pictured from behind — was apparently nude in the original version of the photo.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star then deleted the photo and reposted it with a yellow heart censoring his daughter's backside, though it was still clear that she was topless.

Orlando — who infamously went completely nude on a paddle boarding excursion with Katy in 2016 — was covered up with black swim trunks in the picture.

Social media users were outraged by his actions and branded him 'out of touch' for the post and 'detached from reality.'

Taking to Reddit, one said: 'Some parents are such idiots. They don't post this child's face on social media, so they do understand privacy but then post a naked pic. Make it make sense.'

Another agreed, adding: 'I can't help but feel like you have to be so out of touch to think it's okay to post a naked photo of your daughter, to a huge fanbase, and not consider the repercussions.

'I can understand how that might be a meaningful photo for a parent, but not on the interweb for millions to see.'

A third chimed in: 'Poor thing. I know having everything you desire would be nice, but having a celeb as a parent sounds like a special kind of headache for kids. Having a guardian so detached from reality is scary.'

'Do people not have common sense?' asked another. 'Why are you posting your four-year-old naked on social media?

'I'm not saying him posting it was ill-intent or anything, but there are people on social media who will use it for ill-intent and inappropriate reasons.'

Others came to Orlando's defense.

Commenting on the Instagram, one said: 'She's gonna be four… I don't understand everyone's comments here. She's going swimming with her father. Again she is four. This is not, not a normal thing… he covered her butt in the picture.. 

'I used to run around naked until I was almost seen and a lot of the kids I grew up with did also. It's innocent and the fact that people are trying to make it weird ARE WEIRD AF.'

Another added: 'Why are people saying protect the child… Jeez my childhood photos would have had loads of stickers over them, bare butts everywhere [sic].'

Katy's Instagram post included a photo of her skinned knee still oozing some blood as she soaked in a bath tub.

She included a humorous text chain with her friend and A&R liaison Lauren Glucksman that touched on her entrance into middle age.

'It was a slide on my knees mome that usually makes them go ahhh and it just made me go arghh [sic],' Katy wrote. Lauren replied, 'And just like that. She's in her 40s.' 

Katy showed her devotion to her stage show in a split image taken from one of her concerts. 

She wore a science fiction–inspired metallic red suit and hung above the stage while suspended on wires.

The hitmaker offered a backstage portrait of her tour that contrasted with the debauchery of other performers.

'Just some backstage fun,' she said while narrating a humorous clip of her hunky male backup dancers playing Uno in their downtime. 

'Wholesome fun. [Of] all the things these could be doing, they're playing Uno,' she added while filming.

Katy also highlighted just how cumbersome her costume is in a funny closeup video showing her trying to grasp a single candy or mint from a tin as the metal fingertips of her costume's gloves stymied her. 

But even with the grueling schedule of touring, Katy still managed to find time for some fun in the sun, as evidenced by a photo of her soaking up some rays on a yacht while wearing a skimpy white minidress with an intriguing tasseled skirt.

She de-stressed backstage in another clip in which she had what looked like an energetic yoga session while wearing patches for bags under her eyes.

Katy concluded her whirlwind post with a clip highlighting her fans' devotion to her.

She was dressed in a tiny red top and matching bottoms with dangling costume jewels as she performed her 2010 hit Firework, but she paused her delivery to highlight the thunderous singing from audience members that filled in the gaps.

Last week, Katy was seen enjoying a dinner date with Justin in Montreal amid her Lifetimes Tour.

Despite their seemingly intimate meal, a source has told the Daily Mail that those close to the singer do not believe their rendezvous was anything serious. 

On Friday, the satirical news site The Onion poked fun at the romance speculation by sharing a seemingly AI photo on Instagram of her ex Orlando on a date with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

He appeared to understand the reference and playfully jumped to the comment section to add clapping hand emojis.

The caption of the post read: 'Just weeks after announcing his split with fiancée Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was photographed Friday dining with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

'Angela kept Orlando laughing all night - he couldn't keep his eyes off her!' said an insider source who spotted the pair sipping wine, slurping oysters, and splitting a decadent piece of chocolate layer cake at a Michelin-starred restaurant.'

In late June, it was revealed that Katy and Orlando officially called it quits after dating for nine years.

At the time, a source told Us Weekly: 'Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,' while also adding that the separation has been 'not contentious' thus far.

'Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.'

The Teenage Dream hitmaker was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 until their divorce in 2012.

The insider further added that the reported breakup had been 'a long time coming' and that their relationship had also been 'tense for months.'

And representatives for the two stars also confirmed to DailyMail.com: 'Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting.

'They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.'
