Apple is pushing consistent updates to the latest operating system releases, first announced during WWDC 2026 in June. As we enter mid-July, and the summer progresses toward an autumn GA release of each OS, the macOS Golden Gate Beta 3 now includes wallpapers of the system title. Download upscaled versions of the macOS Golden Gate Beta 3 wallpapers for your devices today!

The first two downloads in today’s update are from the macOS Golden Gate Beta aerial wallpapers. As @BasicAppleGuy explains in his post, the images are not extractable as stills. Rather, to offer the incredibly high quality images below, he explains that the 4k video extractions make single frames look soft. Consequently, he upscaled and sharpened them to ensure even a 5k display would look Photo Quality.
