The integrated management system of "Turbine Technologies AAEM" Limited Liability Company (a joint venture of Atomenergomash JSC and General Electric) has been recognized as meeting the requirements of international standards ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, and their Russian equivalents, and the quality management system has been recognized as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
The Russian Register Certification Association carried out a verification of conformity to requirements of the standards. Experts of the Association assessed "AAEM" LLC's ability to provide high-quality products and services, effectiveness of the company's production and management processes, and the extent of employees' involvement into control and regular quality improvement of works performed. Special attention has been directed at a transfer of the quality management system to a new version of ISO 9001:2015.
"During the inspection the Company personnel has demonstrated efficiency of the integrated management system and its conformity to the requirements of the applicable standards," noted Sergey G. Degtyarev, the Head of Integrated Management Systems Department.
Following the audit, certificates were issued to document conformity of the management systems of "AAEM" LLC to the requirements of the applicable standards for design, engineering, procurement, inspections and retrofit of equipment packages and individual pieces for nuclear and thermal power plants.
"Certificates of conformity for our Company are the result of a long-term and extensive activities to develop and improve the management systems: development of occupational health and safety system, environmental awareness and dedication to ensure high quality and reliability of equipment supplied by AAEM," underlined Ilya A. Vergizaev the General Director of the Company.
The existing certified integrated management system shows the Company's ability to render high-quality services, provides an advantage in tendering activities and a significant expansion of cooperation opportunities with foreign companies.
