Are you fascinated by dinosaurs? The Science Club is hosting an overnight trip to Dino Valley, from April 11-12. Located 80 miles from Dallas, the valley preserves real tracks from dinosaurs, such as the Sauropod and Theropod. The park has become a historic location for the paleontology community as it helped to confirm that the Saurpods walked in land. The area gives out the “time travel” feeling, as visitors walk among the dinosaur sculptures that were displayed during the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair

Students can expect an exciting trip while learning more about the dinosaurs that roamed in the area millions of years ago. Ruth Rodriguez, the president of the Science Club, hopes that the trip allows students to have fun with the attractions at the park.

“We are going to look at the dinosaur tracks, and walk around the state park. I think it’s pretty cool. I hope people come and have fun with everyone,” Rodriguez said.

In order to attend the trip, students must be a Science Club member, which is  a $15 fee to join. Transportation is covered, but students have to bring their own camping gear.
