There is a new minor release of
fortify-headers, namely 3.0.2. Minor
releases means no new features, only bug fixes and improvements, mainly about
portability regarding weird compilers. Oh and also a lot more tests. There
are only 16
commits
since the last release, so I think we can skip the proper changelog for this
one.
Adoption-wise, Alpine Linux recently moved from 1.1 to 3.0.1, bringing
FORTIFY_SOURCE=3 to all its users. The main goal is this release is to have
fortify-header there, without any patches/fixes. We'll see how it goes.
As is now usual, the release is available on
github, and
the tag has been pushed on
2f30 as well.
