Clement Carbonnel has just been announced as the winner of the ACP Doctoral Research Award, for his PhD thesis (from the University of Toulouse), ‘Harnessing tractability in constraint satisfaction problems’.
The ACP Doctoral Research Award is given every year by the Association for Constraint Programming, to a promising young researcher working in the area of constraint programming and who defended his/her thesis between January and December of the previous two years.
The award will be presented in Melbourne, Australia later this year at the 23rd International Conference on Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2017).
Clement is now a Postdoctoral Research Assistant within the Department.
