Following on from our successful festival debut in 2016, this year the Department of Computer Science has three speakers and four workshops at the Hay Festival.
DPhil student Linde Wester will present her talk THE SOLACE OF QUANTUM on Friday 26 May 2017 at 2.30pm
Alumna Anne-Marie Imafidon will talk about her work as the founder of Stemettes at EAT. SLEEP. STEM. REPEAT: THE FUTURE IS GIRL-LED on Friday 26 May 2017 at 5.30pm
Marta Kwiatkowska will be speaking about her research in WHEN TO TRUST A ROBOT… on Tuesday 30 May 2017 at 2.30pm
The BEBRAS team, lead by Peter Millican, will run two computational thinking challenge workshops, both on Friday 26 May and Jamie Vicary leads a team who will be running two sold-out 'Build your own Quantum Computer' workshops later in the week.
