Leslie Ann Goldberg will be one of 6 eminent academics invited to speak at a New Scientists event on the theme of ‘The Mathematical World’.
The six leading experts (including fellow Oxford Professor Marcus du Sautoy) will be talking about these topics and much more:
How mathematics shapes the universe / Why statistics rule the world / Is symmetry
fundamental to our existence? / The mathematical algorithms behind everyday life / The
enigma of infinity / The mathematical problems still waiting to be solved / Plus much more.
