Oxford ranked best in Europe in World Rankings for Computer Science (again)

The Academic Ranking of World Universities has named Oxford as best in Europe (and best in the world outside North America) in the 2013 Computer Science league table.

Up two places on last year's position, Oxford was the only British university to appear in the top 20 for Computer Science in this year's rankings. 

The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) – sometimes known as the Shanghai Rankings - is conducted by researchers at the Center for World-Class Universities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (CWCU).
