7. Tuscaloosa police shut down the Strip on University Boulevard after the University of Alabama A-Day game due to extreme overcrowding and multiple fights, making nearly 20 arrests for disorderly conduct, marijuana possession, and gun violations while saying closing the Strip was the only way to ensure safety with so many juveniles present.
