Two high profile SAS Australia contestants walked out on the show during Tuesday's dramatic episode. 

Balinese princess Lindy Klim and convicted drug smuggler 'Cocaine Cassie' Sainsbury both decided to call it quits. 

Lindy struggled through the second day of challenges and admitted she was 'completely out her comfort zone' but said she was proud of her efforts regardless.  

'I hate sand, and I hate being dirty, and I hate camping. I feel quite chuffed that I managed to get through two days, so I feel good,' she said as she left. 

Earlier, Lindy had a rough time during the helicopter challenge, and called herself a 'Karen' who needs her comforts. 

Those included listening to podcasts, playing whale sounds and wearing an eye mask to fall asleep. 

Cassie also departed, after being unable to face a challenge in which she had to crawl through a tunnel filled with water. 

She worried that the cold, dark, confined space would remind herself too much of her stint in a Colombian jail, and refused to see it through. 

After telling the Directing Staff that she was quitting, Cassie said she was leaving behind her 'Cocaine Cassie' nickname on the show. 

'It is one of the first times in a long time that I feel proud of myself in the sense of facing everything that I didn't ever want to see again. 

'When I leave the SAS course, "Cocaine Cassie" dies there. That's it. She doesn't follow me around anymore. 

'I'm just Cassie, but I am the Cassie who has gone through a lot. I've come out the other side stronger, with more resilience, and I hope to be able to prove everyone wrong,' she added.

She bid farewell to the camp, saying a final, "See you Cocaine Cassie" as she left.
