Vivo appears to be preparing a broader X500 smartphone lineup, with leaked information pointing towards significant differences between the standard and Pro models. The latest details suggest the company is testing multiple screen sizes and distinct rear-camera designs for the upcoming phones.

The standard Vivo X500 is tipped to feature a large circular camera unit positioned towards the upper-left corner of the rear panel, while the Pro models could place their circular camera module in the center. The leaked information also points to differences in processor manufacturing technology, with the Pro models reportedly being tested with 2nm chips.

The rear design could be one of the clearest differences between the Vivo X500 models. The standard Vivo X500 is reportedly being tested with a large circular rear camera module positioned towards the upper-left corner. It could also feature a flat display measuring around 6.59 inches.

The Pro variants, meanwhile, are tipped to take a different approach, with their circular camera module centered on the rear panel. The change could give the standard and Pro models visibly different designs rather than simply separating them through internal hardware.

The leaked information also suggests Vivo could offer multiple screen sizes across the series. The standard X500 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch flat display. The Pro range could be available in two screen sizes, approximately 6.37 and 6.85 inches. Both Pro models are expected to feature narrow bezels and larger corner radii.

Their displays could also support 1.5K or 2K resolution and refresh rates of up to 144Hz. The different sizes indicate that Vivo could target users looking for both a relatively compact Pro phone and a larger-screen variant within the same series. 

Another notable detail concerns the processors reportedly being considered for the upcoming phones. The Vivo X500 Pro models are tipped to use 2nm chips, while the standard X500 could use a processor based on a 3nm manufacturing process. Earlier information has linked the standard X500 to the MediaTek Dimensity 9600, while the Pro models have been associated with the Dimensity 9600 Pro.

These processor details remain part of the leaked information and have not been officially confirmed by Vivo. If the reported 2nm configuration materializes, the Pro models would be positioned around a newer chip manufacturing process than the standard version.

The standard Vivo X500 is also expected to receive a substantial camera setup. The phone is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor. The telephoto camera could have a 70mm-equivalent focal length, with telephoto macro photography also reportedly being considered.

The X500 Pro could use a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor and LOFIC technology, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. LOFIC, or lateral overflow integration capacitor technology, is expected to help improve dynamic range by retaining more detail in scenes containing both bright and dark areas.

The reported lineup could extend beyond the standard and Pro models. The Vivo X500 Pro Max has been linked to a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, alongside a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera and another 50MP telephoto camera. The broader X500 family is currently expected to include the X500, X500e, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, giving Vivo several hardware tiers and screen sizes within the series. 

Despite the growing number of leaked specifications, Vivo has not officially confirmed the X500 series or its launch date. The current information points towards a possible September debut, while global versions of the phones have reportedly appeared in certification databases.

However, the launch timing, final specifications, and market availability remain subject to official confirmation. That means the reported camera arrangements, display sizes, and processor configurations should be treated as leaked details rather than confirmed specifications until Vivo makes an official announcement.
