The Row on West Knoll was alive with thoughtful dialogue and creative exchange as guests gathered for a panel discussion amongst the art exhibition “Dialogues on the Knoll.” Held on January 28th, this event followed the exhibition’s enigmatic November opening, which continues through March 8.
Showcasing the work of 22 artists displayed throughout The Row on West Knoll’s contemporary townhomes, the exhibit examines the way “art, architecture, and daily life intersect to create moments of stillness within a shifting world,” according to curators Kipton Cronkite and Todd Williamson.
The interactive installation highlights dynamic art in various mediums, as well as the spacious, art-ready layouts of the townhomes within The Row on West Knoll, represented by The Agency’s Paul Lester, Daniel Stevenson, and Aileen Comora.
Located just moments from the Sunset Strip, this limited collection of residences balances sophisticated design with convenient, modern daily living. The setting provided a fitting backdrop for an evening centered on the power of creativity.
Leaders from across disciplines shared insights on the evolving relationship between culture and development, reflecting on how design-forward thinking influences both private residences and public life. Panelists included Kipton Cronkite, Paul Lester of The Agency, James Frost of Frost/Chaddock Developers, Christopher Gialanella ofLos Angeles Magazine, Ryan Gordon Jackson of Studio Jackson Inc., Leo Marmol of Marmol Radziner, and Todd Williamson.
“Moments like this are how we begin to rethink how we live. It all comes back to collaboration and community,” Paul remarked during the panel. “I come from New York originally, and was an artist for a long time myself. I think events like this really allow us all to connect and come up with new ways of thinking and living, helping to solve future problems.”
Following the panel, guests were invited to explore the exhibition and continue the conversation, extending the night’s themes of creativity, community, and the meaningful integration of art within the spaces we call home.
