Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), a leading European provider of media services, system integration and product development, will demonstrate an end-to-end sovereign cloud media supply chain at IBC 2026, taking place at the RAI Amsterdam from 11th to 14th September 2026.

Visitors to Hall 1, Stand C16 can explore how BCE’s media ecosystem helps customers to access a sovereign environment while maintaining security and resilience.

As broadcasters accelerate cloud transformation, they face increasing demands around data security and regulatory compliance. BCE’s sovereign cloud media ecosystem, built in partnership with Scaleway and Ateme, addresses these challenges by providing a credible European alternative to traditional non-European hyperscale cloud providers.

At IBC 2026, BCE will showcase how sovereign cloud media workflows powered by Media-as-a-Service can deliver enterprise-grade performance.

“Sovereignty is about more than where data is stored, it is about who controls the media supply chain and whether organisations retain the freedom to choose, adapt and evolve their operations over time. By combining European cloud infrastructure, trusted media technologies and BCE’s operational expertise, we provide customers with a resilient, production-ready environment in which they can modernise without giving up control or flexibility.”
– Sylvain Merle, Chief Technology Officer at BCE.

At IBC 2026, visitors will also discover how BCE can support customers through its portfolio of media infrastructure, live production, content management, digital distribution and Media-as-a-Service (MaaS). Rather than presenting these as standalone technologies, BCE and its partners combine them into an integrated operational environment.

BCE’s Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) approach is designed to help customers move beyond isolated applications by coordinating media operations around the content they manage every day, from live events and channels to content libraries. By connecting workflows, applications and services across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments, MaaS gives teams greater visibility and control across the media supply chain, from ingest and processing to orchestration, distribution, monitoring and support. This means that customers can scale at their own pace enabling organisations to modernise their environments while maintaining flexibility and control over their media operations.

“Every media organisation has its own transformation journey. Our role is not to impose a cloud strategy, but to enable the right one. By combining BCE’s operational expertise as an integrator, service provider and network operator with the complementary technologies of Scaleway and Ateme, we help customers modernise their media supply chain at their own pace, while preserving resilience, technological sovereignty and the freedom to choose the best solutions over time.”
– Frédéric Fiévez, Chief Operating Officer at BCE.

BCE combines its integration and operational expertise with best-in-class technologies from a trusted partner ecosystem. Leveraging Scaleway for European cloud infrastructure, Ateme for media processing, BCE delivers a fully operated media environment. This enables customers to build secure, efficient, and scalable workflows while preserving flexibility and freedom of choice.

Visitors to IBC 2026 can meet BCE in Hall 1, Stand C16, where the team will demonstrate content-led media workflows, showing how MaaS, integrated solutions and partner technologies support secure, scalable and controlled media operations across the supply chain.
