State funds new mental health task force after fatal Hinsdale police-involved shooting

In the wake of the officer-involved shooting that led to the death of 27 year old Biagio Kauvil, state funding is being allocated to establish better mental health response for the hill towns like Hinsdale. The funding was announced last Thursday when State Senator Paul Mark shared that $250,000 of next year's budget will go toward a task force for an alternative mental health response.
