Orange Amps Introduces Baby Terror Amp

Дата публикации: 29-07-2026 21:36:20

Orange Amps has released the “Baby Terror", an analog micro-lunchbox addition amplifier to its Baby series. It delivers 20 Watts of quality Orange sound, in a head built for backpacks, desktops, rehearsal rooms and small stages. The “Baby Terror” retains Orange's own lunchbox footprint, with Gain and Volume sitting alongside a full three-band EQ and Presence control, moving easily from warm rounded cleans through classic crunch, to tight cutting drive. It is simple to plug in and play, yet flexible enough to shape around different guitars, pedals and different styles of music.
For extra weight at cleaner gain settings, Orange’s “Tubby” switch lets more low end through early in the signal path, adding fullness and body to clean and ‘dirty-clean’ sounds. Push the gain and switch Tubby off for a leaner, more focused response that stays clear when riffs get heavier.
A second, footswitchable volume makes the “Baby Terror" easily usable in a band mix. Players can step forward for a solo, lift a chorus or hit a louder passage without changing their gain or EQ. It is a straightforward feature with a very practical result: a micro head that behaves like a larger stage amp.
Around the back, an effects loop keeps delays, reverbs and modulation clear and defined, while a balanced line out with ground lift connects neatly for recording interfaces and live rigs. Players can take the Baby Terror’s preamp signal into a DAW and add their preferred impulse responses and plug-ins for silent tracking, quick demos or more detailed studio work. An 8- and 16-ohm speaker output make it ready to drive a wide choice of cabinets. The “Baby Terror” features a single ended, class A, JFET front end, and comes with a quality padded custom-designed protective bag.Sarah Yule, Managing Director of Orange Amps, commented: “The Baby Terror is proof that small does not have to mean less features. It is small enough to carry with one hand, but serious enough to become your main amp – however big your rig is.”The Orange Baby Terror carries as $249 street price.
