Online co-op making its debut on consoles

There has been a lot of noise made about the state of the release schedule for games over the next few months, with many titles big and small doing their utmost to avoid GTA 6.
In case you hadn't noticed, there's a pretty wide radius around 19th November, 2026 — the day Rockstar is set to launch its massive crime sandbox. Very few other games are launching in the same month, let alone the same week.
However, one game is bold enough to buck the trend. The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online is scheduled to launch on PS5 the exact same day, 19th November.
The teaser trailer above doesn't really tell us very much, but The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online is basically the ultimate version of the critically acclaimed roguelike. Its main selling point is that it's introducing online co-op on consoles for the first time ever.
While the game has had local co-op in previous iterations, this version adds online co-op for up to four players. It's not been made clear if it supports cross platform multiplayer.
The package is otherwise the most up-to-date rendition of the game so far, including The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and every DLC pack, up to and including Repentance+.
Are you planning on picking this one up for the online co-op? Tell us in the comments section below.
